Instructions:
Part of the requirements of BCT300 is a "real
world" replication. In other words, communication and teamwork are essential.
This activity will put you to the test in terms of cooperation, communication
and coordination.
This team project will entail a spirit of
cooperation as you coordinate schedules (hopefully through communications
such as e-mails and online chatting). We realize that each of you have
demands of other courses and possible jobs, extra-curricular activities
and the like. However, bear in mind that you are together during this class
time. This is a TEAM PROJECT!
PART 1: Each person will design a team
logo in Paint. The entire team will select the logo they deem as the best
submission for use in PART 2. See the
PAINTBRUSH
TUTORIAL for help with this software.
1. Each individual will design a BCT300 team logo using MicroSoft Paint.
Once the logo is designed, save the file as a .JPG file. You should
save your design by naming it your first and last name. Example: janedoe.jpg
2. THEN, select from the individual logos an OVERALL team logo.
3. FOR YOUR GRADE FOR PART 1 (10 points)
Your
team leader will send an email to the assignment box with the following:

Attach separately each individual logo.

Attach the selected OVERALL team logo identified
as TEAM LOGO.JPG

In the body of the e-mail, the TEAM LEADER MUST give
your Team Number, list each team member's names. Be sure that all logos
are attached.
4. FOR YOUR
GRADE FOR PART 2 (10 points)

The OVERALL logo must be imprinted on T-shirts using
iron-on transfers. A GROUP PHOTOGRAPH of the ENTIRE team wearing the shirts
will be taken.

YOUR TEAM LEADER MUST send an email to the assignment
box with an attached photograph of your team wearing the T-shirts.
In the body of the email, the TEAM LEADER MUST give Team Number, list each
team member's names, and attach your teams picture/file.

TIP: BE sure that the picture is saved as a jpeg,
NOT A BMP file!
